en.v launches pilot to promote collective impact in Kuwait
29 Jan 2020, Kuwait City - en.v, in partnership with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, launched its Collective Impact Coalition (CIC) pilot this month, focused on the priority area identified by stakeholders in our research study, as well as by the 700+ community members who attended our AWAKEN festival: education.
The main aim of the project is to apply the Collective Impact model, which brings people together in a structured way to address complex social and environmental issues, to create the foundation for a strong cross-sector coalition to address challenges related to education in Kuwait in a more sustainable manner.
Over the course of the next three months, a select group of experts and practitioners identified by en.v as leading innovation in this field across various sectors in Kuwait, will be invited to attend a series of meetings to begin to explore how to maximize their collective impact.
The first of these meetings was held on 9 April 2019, and participants took initial steps to develop a common vision in order to set the ground for more long-term collaboration. They also discussed the possibility of mobilizing into workgroups in order to work towards their priorities.
