Reimagining our future together - BUILD Ideathon 2020
A 7-day virtual Ideathon to generate innovative solutions for challenges faced by vulnerable migrant communities in Kuwait.
20 Oct 2020 (Kuwait City) - In partnership with the Swiss Development Cooperation Agency and the Grey Area Collective, en.v is hosting a virtual Ideathon to promote the development of both tech and non-tech based solutions improving the lives of vulnerable migrant communities in Kuwait.
The Ideathon will be taking place virtually from November 14th to 21st with the aim of bringing together people passionate about developing innovative solutions to the challenges faced by the most vulnerable in our community - low-skilled migrant workers. With the support of local and international designers and mentors, participants will learn to apply the human-centered design process to develop projects that are innovative, inclusive and responsive to these communities’ needs.
In order to foster creative approaches and community-building in the process, the Ideathon will engage people from very diverse backgrounds, including migrant community leaders, CSOs, students, designers, technologists, social entrepreneurs and other interested individuals as a centric element to building a more compassionate and resilient community.
